Attending a VirtualSC Course

What does it mean to attend an online course?

Attending a VirtualSC class means:

Logging into your course consistently at least 3-5 times per week.
Communicating with your teacher and classmates.
Completing assignments and other requirements in the course as assigned

Stay Connected

Life happens, and sometimes unexpected situations can make it difficult to keep up with your coursework. If you know you'll miss an assignment or won't be able to log into your course for a few days, let your teacher know as soon as possible.

When you reach out:

Send your teacher a message.
Explain what's going on.
Share a plan for when you can complete your work.

Staying in touch with your teacher shows that you're committed to your success and helps you stay on track. Before moving on, take a few minutes to review the VirtualSC Student Attendance Policy(opens in a new window).

Stay on Track with Your Course Syllabus

As you travel throughout your VirtualSC course, the course syllabus shows you recommended pacing and requirements for your course. Review it to stay organized, manage your time, and avoid falling behind.
